Accomodation

Accommodation will include hotels surrounding the venue as well as any residential housing available during the congress period. Accommodation bookings can be made at any of the properties below via the ISBE 2010 registration process. Additional properties may be added in the lead up to the congress.

Booking Information

Deposit
Either one night’s accommodation deposit or a credit card number is required to secure your booking. Please note that any bookings that have not advised either a credit card number or one night’s deposit by the 28 April 2007 will be cancelled. Delegates are required to settle their own accounts including any incidentals incurred upon check out.

Preferences
May we please ask that you indicate your first 3 preferences of hotels when booking accommodation via the registration form. Limited rooms are available at each hotel and we recommend that accommodation be booked early.

Deadlines
We encourage delegates to book accommodation well in advance as hotels impose strict release dates for block accommodation bookings, all rooms are released 30 days prior to the meeting and therefore accommodation bookings received after 20 August 2010 will be subject to availability and current room rates.

Change of Booking
Amendments to accommodation including hotels, check in/out dates, room type etc will only be accepted in writing.

Early Arrival or Late Departure
Requests for early check (prior to 1400) in or late check (after 1000) out must be advised in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Please note that early check in’s may require the booking of an additional room night prior to guarantee immediate access to hotel rooms.

Terminology
"Queen Room" refers to a room with one Queen Bed occupied by one or two people
"Twin Room" refers to a room with two Single Beds
"Dormitory" refers to a private room with four Single Beds

A list of hostels in and around Perth is provided below, however, all bookings for these properties must be made direct with the hostel, EECW and the ISBE 2010 Organising Committee are not able to secure these bookings on your behalf.

While all hostels listed are within walking distance from the PCEC, there is a wide range of public transport available in Perth, details are on the General Information page, the Esplanade Bus Port is located adjacent to the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre and bus services in and around Perth are frequent.
